settling in
We’re so in love with our little baby Samson! After a few nights James brought him into bed with us and he’s been sleeping with us every night – which may be to our detriment as Samson loves to lie between us so he can touch us both, and it seriously impacts Mommy and Daddy Time. We toss him out of bed but he still comes back – love. 
He’s really opening up a lot and runs around the house like a little terror (especially first thing in the morning which isn’t so bad during the week when I have to get up at 6am, but weekends?… Bad Baby!), but he’ll still run and hide at any sudden movement or noise. He’s such a funny little thing – especially his bright blue googly alien eyes. Purrrrrfect!
I had my performance review at work on Thursday. Hm. My boss and I came to a mutual understanding that I pretty much hate my job, and while I’m not “actively looking” (*COUGH*LIE), if I do get an interview somewhere just to let him know so he can start recruiting for my role as soon as possible. He even offered suggestions for other places to work. But in the meantime I’m just plodding along and he extended my contract for another 3 months – but let’s hope I don’t have to stick around that long! I’ve already got one rejection letter… I guess more are coming…
