coughcoughcough on you
James’ mate, Ryan from Canada, has come to Perth, and we’ve holed him up at our house. Pulling the mattress off the sofa bed each night and putting it in the spare room has worked out quite nicely, and he’s such a nice boy that he folds up his blanket and keeps the room tidy when he’s not in it. Completely unnecessary, but just so courteous! James took Ryan out to Fremantle yesterday to help him find a job – plenty of casual jobs available, of course, but he didn’t have a resume so they’re working on that today. He’s also looking at hostels, but we’re not rushing him out.
However, James and I decided to give up our lease (or maybe it was just me that decided) at the end of the month, and I’ll go back to mum’s while he’s in Canada with all our stuff. Hopefully I can save a couple of grand if I manage to find a job and then we’ll move out again when he gets back. Unf.. I vowed I’d never move back home, but when you can save a lot of money, it’s a really attractive option. The biggest down side is that we’ll have to board Samson somewhere for 2 months, because mum has a dog who has a dog flap, and because Samson is an indoor cat, it just won’t work out. Plus Obi (the dog) will probably be afraid of Samson.
He’s so chicken.
