Hi, I’m Sandra, a 25 year old kid hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Anyone who knows me knows it’s my biggest dream to live in Canada… and in April 2010, I bit the bullet and left my amazing job in human resources at a law firm, packed my life into boxes for storage and the remainder into two suitcases… and hauled my ass to Vancouver. And I am loving it! It’s definitely where I need to be.Took me three months to get a permanent job, and I can now breathe a huge sigh of relief – if all goes well, I’ll be putting in my residency papers in a year! On the love front, well, that somehow only took a month and I’m in a crazy, fun, loving relationship with my blue-eyed Quebecois. I’m still getting myself settled, though. Still “homeless” but hoping that will change soon. 
My weaknesses include:
chocolate, coffee, pineapple, cosmetics, the Vancouver Canucks, making lists, pajamas, muffins and other assorted baked goods, recipes, rain, Tegan and Sara, travelling, beautiful photos, tea, accessories, and a vast array of other things that make me sound more girly than I intended.
